Sylt - varied hours on Germany's largest North Sea island

The island of Sylt stretches in a north-south direction off the North Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein and Denmark. Sylt is best known for its more than 40 kilometers of white sandy beaches. The northernmost point of the island is the Lister Ellenbogen.
